Back to the Land of the Thriving Sun!

I'm back! And a lot sooner than ya'll thought huh? :)

Well, I'm back in Thatcher now, land of the thriving sun. It's dang hot down here and I'm so glad I live in a house with AC. School is going well so far. I just finished my first week and boy am I glad of that! I find that the first week of every semester is the longest so I'm glad it's over with. I'm a little nervous about some of my classes, but I'm sure I can rise to the challenge. I'm glad I have good instructors who are constantly reminding me that if I need help, they are always available. Besides my music classes (music theory, aural perception, and marching band) I'm learning French and American Sign Language. French is so much fun and I can't wait to learn it more. The French for some reason are very proud of the way they talk. I think it's hilarious and that's why it's so fun to learn it. I'm excited to learn ASL too. I've only been to one class since it's one night a week. I'm sure it'll go well in my quest for learning new languages.

Other than school I've just been trying to adjust to everything. I have new roommates, a new room, an new major, a new EVERYTHING!!! Everything has changed since I first came here 2 years ago. When I moved back the first day it felt like I was a newby all over again. It's been good though, all things considered. My new roommates are awesome! They are hilarious and I absolutely love them! Here is a video of Aubre's uno trick :D
Anyway, life is wonderful, and it always will be. No matter what I hope that we can all remember that. In this crazy world of ours it's always good the think positive. Hasta luego mis amigos!

Summer Miracles

Hi there! It's the end of the summer and I thought you guys deserved an update. I ended up getting a job, two actually! Yippie! Thanks to all of your prayers and voiced concerns about this. I was very blessed to earn enough money this summer so that I could go back to school this fall. First, I got a job working for my neighbor and really good family friend, Karen Thompson. I helped her with summer projects like painting the house, cleaning her house, helping her survive her daughter's visit :), and other odds and ends. It was a good experience and I felt blessed getting something to do. Next, I got a call from Karen's daughter who needed an employee at a place called Grumpy Jake's over by the DQ in Taylor. I was thrilled when she told me I could start the next day and that I would never have to work Sundays because they were closed on those days. What a blessing! At times it gets hard getting there on account that it's in Taylor and I either have to steal a vehical or someone takes me. It's been worth it though.

Also, the past couple of weeks I've made a big decision that I think will effect the rest of my life. I've decided to become a music major. I can already see myself wondering what the heck I was thinking, but I have always loved music and I feel I need to do this. Music saved me at one point in my life so I think it deserves some payback. I know I'm not the best at music, but I will do my best at it. Thanks Mom for talking me into it! I honestly don't know why I wasted two years when I should've been doing music this whole time. At the same time, perhaps it wasn't a waste after all :)

Anyway, enough of my rambling and going on! I got nothing else to talk about so I'll let ya'll go. Until next time I get bored or have specular news or......whatever I guess :D I love you all.

My Pitiful Existence...

So....the semester's gone! Oh my goodness how neglectful I can be with this silly thing! Well, I will leave ya'll in suspense no longer and update my pitiful existence also known as my life.

So my semester started out really ambitious, hopeful, and bright...unfortunately my motivation decreased rapidly, resulting in making the semester quite a bit different than anticipated. It went well though and I had a wonderful semester despite the tumbles and obstacles I had to face. I really do feel bad for not updating this more these past months, and I hope you'll forgive me for not putting in a ton of details. Actually, you might praise me for not doing such an abominable thing :)

Anyway, updating! I'm here in Snowflake now for the summer. Yay! I'm in the process of looking for a job which is turning out to be rather difficult. I've been doing a bit of good old fashioned praying and asking for Heavenly Father's help and I think it'll work if I put in the effort. Right now that's the biggest thing going on. Honest! I told you I have a pitiful existence! Heck, the only reason why I'm doing this at all is because I'm bored! Shoot dang...pathetic....

So, life is good! Until next time. I sure hope I have something better to tell you...maybe I'll let you know when I get my job! Right! Later ya'lls!

Another Semester. Bring it on!

Hey Everyone! Thought it was time I did this again and give you an update of my fabulous life! My life is very much fabulous at the moment. The Lord has blessed me quite a bit the past few weeks in which I am very grateful. I'm back at EAC again and enjoying it immensly. I'm trying to be in the habit of staying on top of it with my classes and school work and such. It's been great doing so but I know I'll eat my words one of these days :) I just finished my first full week here and it's hard to believe. As most of you know I have a new roommate and she is awesome. Her name is Angela and she's from Tucson. She's a very good roommate but her personality is very interesting and will take me some time to get used to all of her little quirks. I'm sure it'll be a wonderful adventure for both of us since I'm sure she must be doing the same thing with me :)

This past week has been good. I auditioned for placement setting in band on Wednesday and hopefully I did alright there. I would love to play 2nd clarinet part but we'll see how everything goes. I also got the opportunity to see the move "Rent" with my good friend Jason Whetten and roommie Jacy. I'm glad Jason was there to fastforward any inappropriate material that was in the movie :) I actually did enjoy watching it for all intents and purposes. The story line was awesome and i loved the music.

Other than all of this amazing stuff not much has been going on around here. Hopefull I'll get around to doing this more often. If I don't then I'm sure ya'll will understand and will forgive me. Before I sign off I just want to thank all of you wonderful people out there once again that are a part of my life. Each one of you has made a direct impact on me and I just want to say thanks. To name a few:

PARENTS, thanks so much for raising me the way you did. You have made the biggest impact on my life and I will always be grateful for all that you have done for me. Thanks for loving me even when I do the stupidest things. I hope I can someday find a guy that will someday measure up to my dad, and maybe someday I'll be a tenth of what my mom is. Thanks.

ROOMIES! Shelly, Jacy, Cyrena, and Angela, you guys are AWESOME! Thanks for putting up with me all the time. I realize half of you don't even read this, but it's all good. You guys are probably my best friends and I have truely been blessed having you in my life.

SARAH, my wonderful little sister. Thanks for always being there for me. You really are the best sister any girl could ever have. I love you forever.

EMILY, my wonderful big sister. How I love you and how I look up to you. You have been a wonderful example to me all my life. Sorry if I copy you all the time, but remember it's the best form of flattery. I don't do it to annoy but I actually do it subconsciously :) I love you Ems, always.

DAVID, my wonderful big brother. You are the best brother any girl could ask for. I mean it too. You always make me feel amazing right when I feel that I'm not. Thanks for always making me feel like I'm worth something. I owe you a ton for being that shining example for me all my life. Thanks.

JOY LYNN. Shoot dang I want to say a quick thanks for you. Couldn't forget you in my little tribute now could I? Hahahaha! Thanks for always making me feel appreciated and noticed. You always brighten my day with your smile that's become so frequent these days. Keep it up! You really are a remarkable person and thanks for letting me get to know you in that aspect.

RACHELLE, now you are special to me. I've known you for quite some time and you've been an amazing example for me. You have taught me to rely on the Spirit and to stay close to my Heavenly Father. Thanks so much.

And to all the rest of you, and you know who you are though I didn't mention you, I love you. Thank you so much all of my amazing cousins, uncles, aunts, Grandma :), and friends. All my lovin'!

Hello hello! It's been more than a month since my last update so i thought it was about time i did something about it. Sorry about my last one. My friends are cRaZy! :) Anyway life is good at the present. I'm home now for Christmas break and having a fabulous time. My family has been extremely patient with me so a thanks to them for that! I still miss college life, but that happens whenever I'm home for a longer period of time than i like. I miss my wonderful roommates and hope all is well with them! I'm going to be getting a new roommate soon so that's exciting! I'm also going to be living in a shared room this coming semester instead of having my own room. That'll be an adventure for me for sure! It makes me nervous (scared actually) but i'm excited as to what the Lord may have in store for me. I'm glad I have amazing friends to call on whenever I may need them and I hope they all know just how much I appreciate them.

Anyway, I'm excited for Christmas this year! I'm asking Santa for a harmonica and hopefully I'll have some luck in learning it soon. I'm also spending Christmas with my Grandma Bennett for the first time. I think she's excited but I'm wicked excited too! She's the greatest grandma on the face of the planet and i love her to death.

Well, that's all for now folks! Again, sometimes I tend to lead a boring life, but I hope ya'll found it somewhat interesting. All my lovin'! :D

A new year! Yay!

Hello friends and family and all those of you who like to check out random people's blogs! Hahahaha! Time for a new year and it's been a great year so far. I hope it continues to go well and that the Lord will also continue to help me through any adventure I must undergo. I'm back at school now waiting around for it to start. I plan on working real hard this semester while trying to have fun at the same time. I'm sure I'll be able to do so if I budget my time well.

I have a feeling this is going to be a good year for me. This semester feels good to me too. I'm in a different room with a stranger and I'm sure we're both trying to get used to each other. I've never had a roommate for a long period of time so this is a new experience for me. I didn't realize until now how easy I had it having my own room! I'm glad I could have this experience despite all of that. I really do love my roommate. She makes me smile a lot of the time because she's just so crazy and random. She's really cool and I'm glad she's here and is my roommate.

Anyway, right now life is real boring despite all of the above. I'm excited for this new year. I hate change, so having a new year reminds me that things change no matter what I do. I hope all of you that get to read this thing are happy and well and know that I love them. You important people make change so much easier, and you've definitely changed my life for the better being in it. Thank you so much! All my lovin' to ya! :)
